Curriculum

Chemistry Majors will take courses from all of the major disciplines of chemistry:

General Chemistry

These classes serve as introduction to the study of the composition, structure, and properties of matter.

Organic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry is the study of Carbon-based molecules, their properties and reactions.

Inorganic Chemistry

Inorganic Chemistry involves those compounds outside of Organic Chemistry, primarily focusing on metals, minerals and organometallic compounds.

Analytical Chemistry

Analytical chemistry is a study of the measurement of properties, separation, and identification of a wide variety of chemical compounds

Physical Chemistry

Physical chemistry is the study of the relationships between physics and chemistry and the behavior of matter on its most fundamental level.

Biological Chemistry

Biological Chemistry or Biochemistry is the study of the chemistry of biological systems and pathways.
