POST-DOCTORAL POSITION OPENING IN SYNTHETIC ORGANIC/ORGANOMETALLIC CHEMISTRY

The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a post-doctoral research associate to work on Metal-catalyzed Group Transfer Reactions. Applicants should be Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry or organometallic chemistry. The applicant should be excellent in synthesis including chiral compounds. He/she should be able to handle GC, GC-MS, NMR, HPLC, LC-MS etc, equipments independently. The position is available in the fall 2009 for one year but can be extended on mutual agreement.
