Why Chemistry at UL Lafayette?

Chemistry is a fundamental science. Our department emphasizes individual student attention. We achieve this by liming the sizes of our classes and providing direct access to your instructors if you need help or mentoring. You get hands-on contact and experience with modern instrumentation, such as IR and NMR.

We are proud to be an American Chemical Society (ACS) certified department. This certification ensures that you will receive a fundamental and professionally recognized chemical education, which is an excellent preparation for numerous occupations as well as for graduate or professional schools.
