The Department of Chemistry is looking for Temporary Instructors for Chemistry courses for FY 20-21. The initial appointment is for 1 year but may be renewed, depending on department needs.

 

Responsibilities:

Applicants will teach general, organic, analytical chemistry, and the associated laboratories. The instructor is expected to teach and participate fully in other activities of our ACS-certified department, college, and university.

 

Qualifications:

The applicant must have a Masters or Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field, teaching experience preferred.

 

Department:

The Department of Chemistry has 13 faculty members with specialties in all of the major branches of chemistry and biochemistry. The Department offers B.S. degrees that meet the certification requirements of the Committee on Professional Training of the American Chemical Society, as well as an uncertified degree option.

 

Salary:  

Negotiable and with full benefits.
